Help me choose - which of these thermal pastes to use?

Thread Starter
In my current build (linked in my signature) I am soon going to install CPU and GFX EK water cooling blocks.

I have the following termal pastes ready at hand:

  1. MX2
  2. MX3
  3. Shin Etsu X23-7762 (not the X23-7783D)

Which paste would you recommend for

1. CPU
2. GFX card

My plan is to use the squeegee method for the GFX blocks as shown in Skinnees youtube videos even though the instructions show the star method. For the i7 CPU I will use the line method.

In the Skinnee videos the MX2 seems easy to spread. I think the MX3 and the X23 might be more difficult to spread. so please take that into consideration.

I am looking forward to your input. And please do not suggest alternative pastes. I know it is well meant but I want to use what I have. Thanks.

MX-3 spread it with you finger in something like a small plastic wallet, or if your going for the professional look use surgeons glove

GC Extreme - comes out on top on all newer tests. Many sites now use it as the reference paste
