I've still yet to try the Acellero but I'm not sure if I'm going to or not at this point. It would mean taking out a side fan in order for it to fit.

With the above OC, the fans were still only at 45% and pretty quiet (to me) with the GPU temp never reaching above 65C.

How many fans do you have in your case? I have 2 front 120mm and one 140mm intake at the bottom of the case, with a 120mm and 200mm exhaust. While gaming I run them at max RPMs, I do have a 9600GT under it though for physx.... that might be why my temps are higher.

Its weird.... while getting my 6850 to 905/1125mhz up from 850/1125mhz load temp stayed at 63c.... Which I just find freaky.... gonna shoot for 925/1150... I don't want to volt bump though so it probably wont happen.

Mine did 920/1200 stock volts with same temps. Researching others I see that temps on these don't go up much until they go over 950 core.

My case is the NZXT Beta Evo classic. So it has a 120 front, 120 rear, 2 140's top, and there's a spot for 2 120's on the panel but I'm only using 1 and it's directly above the GPU. The other one is open because of the Hyper 212+'s height.

Do you not have a side fan? Have you considered modding the panel to allow one? It helps tremendously to have a fan blowing directly on it pulling air from outside.

wow.... there's no way i could get my 6850 to get 1200 mem on stock let alone on 1.3v

the most i got it to go is 1140, it runs fine with msi kombustor (dx11) but it artifacts in starcraft 2.

Thats why I bought the 140mm fan and put it on the bottom of my case. Though my 9600GT blocks most the airflow now. Not to mention side fans are so noisy. I have a Xigmatek Utgard clearsided case, I don't think I have the tools to cut the window.
