Good Time to Upgrade ??

Thread Starter
I have been out of the "scene" for a few years now since i bought my rig.

Pretty sure i don't wanna upgrade CPU/Mobo just got some nice RAM, and after trying to play Just Cause 2 i have a feeling my 8800s just dont cut it anymore. (smooth with a few slowdowns/speedups during heavy (1680 2x AA 2x AS Med + High textures)

Question is, is this a good time to upgrade or not ?

I would say if you upgrade your GPU and get a nice PSU to back it up your computer will be back in the game.

Don't have to worry about your CPU bottle necking because you have it overclocked already to a good speed.

You could look into a GTX570 or get a GTX 460/470 used from the market place.

The PSU looks like it could use upgrading since I'm not sure about how quality it is.
You could look at a corsair 650watt or something.

If you want a good video card to get you back in the performance range, then i would recommend something like this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161348

or this

or this if you dont' want to worry about your PSU.

here is a cheaper model with not as good of cooling.
