I am using AHCI on the GA-P67A-UD7. The BIOS loads and then the AHCI BIOS loads. This takes a long time. On my Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 it only loads an AHCI BIOS and so overall it is much quicker. Is there a reason the new board's BIOS runs 2 times. I have it set for quick boot. Do you think this will be changed in a future BIOS or maybe it won't matter if they go to UEFI.

Thanks.
