Help me decide on future upgrades on my sig rig.

Here is the list of upgrades that I plan to buy, in chronological order:

1. Third (and final) monitor for eyefinity*
2. New case
3. Water cooling
4. Second 5850 for crossfire

*This I want to remain as my #1 priority

Should I upgrade other components instead?
Do I need an upgrade at all? Should I save the money?
Suggestions?

You already have decent clocks on your CPU+GPU, and I'll assume that you're not hitting 150C on either of them (), so for me watercooling would not be top of my list.

I don't really like the Antec 900, but it's an OK case. Unless there's something that's really bugging you about it, I'd keep it for the time being and get a second 5850.

As for the monitor, you seem to have already decided that you're going to get that ASAP.

You're right.
The only reason why I want to upgrade my case is because I can't fit a second 5850 in my 900.

Ah. That definitely changes things.

In that case (no pun intended), I would get the 800D now (such a nice case ), which will prepare you for when you have the cash/desire to buy water cooling and a second 5850. You could easily fit 2 5850s and a decent loop in there, and have room left over for a couple more PCs. xD

And for the mean time, you will of course have the benefits of a really nice, quality, case.

That would have been the most clever pun.

Lol, but that seems like a good route to go. Alternatively I could not buy a second 5850/new case at all and save the money. I mean, i don't think i'll need a second GPU, but maybe when I have eyefinity it would be ideal.

Yeah, true dat. I usually avoid recommending to people "save the money" on OCN because I have no idea what their finances are like, if there's other stuff they want/need to buy, what their life's like, how they feel about spending a ton of cash on their PC, or whether they're going to get told off for doing so by parents/spouses/girlfriends/boyfriends etc.

Lol, I've just spent too much on my PC.

I know that if I had the spare cash to spend too much on my PC, I would have done by now.
