Either Nintendo doesn't offer worthwhile exclusives or an online system such as Xbox Live/PSN, Nintendo just can't compare to MS and Sony.
There was maybe like 4 or 5 games that I actually played and about 30 I tried for like an hour and never touched again on the GC as compared to the hundreds of titles I got on my PS2 that I slaughtered time wise. Xbox had it fair share of time as well.
Hell, I've poured more time into my Dreamcast than I think I have GC and Wii combined.
The gameboy was the only Nintendo platform that I truly cared about.
PS: achievements are garbage, feeble attempts to extend the re playability of a game without doing any work and creating an imaginary carrot on a stick with less substance than the typical ones you see.
Ok so going through Dead Space 1 with just the Plasma cutter is considered an imaginary carrot on a stick?
Going through Little Big Planet and collecting EVERY god-for-saken collectible in the game is an imaginary carrot on a stick?
Going through Resident Evil 5 and maxing out every single weapon is an imaginary carrot on a stick?
Playing at least 40 online races/hotpursuits/interceptors in NFS:HS and getting the max level to unlock all the cars is an imaginary carrot on a stick?
Whatever you say.Edited by OmegaNemesis28 - 1/21/11 at 4:13pm
