^This.

If you can name 10 games individually on the N64, GC, and Wii each, that were phenomenal, I'll retract what I've said.

The problem is, you won't be able to do it. So... yeah.

Perfect Dark
Goldeneye
Paper Mario
Super Mario 64
Banjo-Tooie
Forsaken 64

Oh ****! I didn't know my palm-crystal for video game playing turned black.

You do know the average age of the typical video game player today is 34, right? And that 26% of people over age 50 play video games?

Sort of like those games that open up an extra difficulty level when you beat the game and have all kinds of cool Easter eggs (MGS comes to mind). It just adds spice to the game.
Ah, Super Meat Boy. Yeah, in a game like that, achievements are a good thing and add a lot to the game. If you just race through the game's levels, you're really only experiencing half of it. Trying to 100% that game is half the challenge.

this is my outlook on it, ever since theyve been added to games i could honestly care less. some of them are just down right ridiculous and i don't even understand why some of them are in games ie "win 5 matches in matchmaking" and stuff.

To end the whole achievement debate...WHO CARES.
The next time you want to "care" about a virtual prize, JUST DON'T.

I mind you am in no way making fun of trophies, achievements, or whatever. But who cares if they go, who cares if they stay!

Also next time you need an incentive such as an achievement to convince yourself that you need the get all the collectibles in a game, or kill people "this" way KILL YOURSELF.

Is it weird that I have this sheer willpower, to collect all of the Chaos Emeralds in Sonic, NOT BECAUSE SOME TROPHY DESCRIPTION IS TELLING ME TO, but because I just am... curious?

If you seriously need a description of some sort telling you how to do things when you can OBVIOUSLY JUST DO IT YOURSELF, just get the hell out of here.

I don't care one bit about achievements but some people like them and they don't affect me in any way, so I say keep 'em.
