New build

Thread Starter
Built the last one about a year and a half ago, but it just isnt getting the job done. I picked up the 295gtx for $230 from a friend and had to build something to handle it.

Let me know if there is anything better I am missing without breaking the bank. I have more than enough money, but I am cheap....prefer to keep it in the bank

Oh--haven't even gotten it built or OC'd. Only ordered, not shipped yet.

well not to be ripping on your friend or anything, but you will get much better performance, longevity, and power value out of getting a newer card like a GTX 570 than a 295. Plus it will use a LOT less power, and thats always nice.

Also, i would try getting a SSD, it will make a noticeable difference in the speed of your entire computer and is probably what i would recommend upgrading the most.
