Well if the cap had blown, the card would probably not be functional, or severely limited. Most likely it just shorted out the resistor, and you are still good. Just be careful when choosing grounding points.

o god my hands were shaking when i was soldering those small connections. anyways it worked. hopefully i can get higher clocks now.

looks like the caps werent damaged at all, and is fully functioning. i think...

anyways going to try out some new overclocks.

Glad to hear it I hope all goes well and you achieve higher clocks

EDIT: didnt notice your last post. Something is burning? Shut the rig down and pull the cooler off and check all of your caps or anything else that might look burnt or melted. Undo the OCP mod cause something definitely has gone wrong.

no signs of melting or burning

ok going to replace the caps.

the ones on the card are 16v 270uF but there arent any of those available to me.

is it okay to use a higher rated cap? theres this 50v 470uF cap. can i use that?

You can use a higer capacitance for the caps but it is best to keep the voltage the same, stick with 16V caps
