You can try.

why does the 990fxa-gd80 only have 3 usable pcie's for dbl slot cards? (this one literally crushed me when i saw it as it means i can't get an MSI board for my upcoming upgrade), related question, are there plans on releasing a quad or better version?
Your first question is being answered in the Afterburner forum.
Your second question ends up being a response along the lines of "adding bridge chip", "cost", "thermal concerns", "design and product segment", and (ultimately) does anyone really care when Bulldozer isn't out yet?

I was thinking it to be like MSI's version of ASUS's ARES 5870x2 it has 100% copper heatsinks. A 6970X3 would be very nice.
When I go to buy MSI cards I look at the cooler and say hay....thats not copper, then look at the Gigabyte ones that have copper heatpipes and sometimes a thrid fan or more heatpipes....Also a 25mhz core clock advantage like in the case of the 5770. Im deciding between three Twin Frozer II 875mhz or three Gigabyte's with 25mhz more core clock and 100% copper heatpipes....
I think 5770's are the best bang for your buck when you have three
You buy one? OK, we'll make two, and also pass all the tooling costs to you.
A 6970x3 is not possible, at least from a mass production perspective. The power draw necessary for 3 GPUs on a single PCB is impossible, let alone the drivers needed to run it. Let's not forget the fact that we'd end up with a 4-slot cooler and a bunch of other BS, and the card will cost north of $1300-1400.
The rest of your post was a bunch of run-on sentences that's not making much sense. Heatpipes are only as good as the wick inside; to have a pure copper heatpipe ain't going to do **** for you.
