Minimum PSU size suggestions?

Ok, heres the deal.. I built up my 2600K rig (see link in sig for details) and robbed the PSU (700W OCZ Stealthstream) from my GPU rig, which has not been running for about a month now.

I'm gearing up for this month's Fold-a-Thon (see here if you don't know what that's all about http://www.overclock.net/overclock-n...foldathon.html)

I need to put the OCZ back into the gpu rig, as nothing I have on hand will be enough for that rig for sure. So, for the purpose of just running the 2600K for the foldathon I need to use one of the ones I have kicking around. I'll be purchasing a case and PSU for the 2600 rig at the end of the month.

With a kill-a-watt type of device, I measure total system draw from the outlet while it's folding at a max of 231 watts @ 4.9Ghz. Now I have a couple no name OEM PSU's, the highest rated of which is only 300 watts. Do you guys figure that will be alright for 24/7 use likely for about a week at most or should I see if I cant find something a bit bigger? If you don't think a 300 watt unit is sufficient, what would you say is the minimum I should try and get?

Thanks guys!

Is it a 300 watt continious? If it is you should be fine for a while.
