I have a set of the 2x2gb g.skill ddr3 1866 kit p67 designed for according to the advertising. Anyways I'm trying to install windows 7 and once it try's to do the first boot into windows to set uo user name it comes up with memory issue? Any ideas on how to fix this? I have the os installing to my SSD.

Edit: got new ram Ripjaw x 2133 2x2gb kit, new corsair ax850 and new mobo. AND I am still having the issue! It's like Deja vu all over again what the hell man!

Also when I boot up the computer it shows the ASUS Mobo screen then flashes away then a black screen with white lettering shows up and it scrolls some text at top then says no hard drives detected? This board is pissing me off and fast.
Disable the Marvell SATA controller in the EFI, also disable the JMB controller if you are not using RAID. That should stop the "no hard drives detected".

For the RAM, try booting with on stick in, or try them in another channel. The ram could be bad, but that is doubtful.

Try starting up with the RAM in a different slot. Also try booting with 1 stick of RAM.
