Damn, thar sucks man. Sorry to hear that your having a hell of a time getting your rig up. Hopefully this will be it and you can be done with your problems. Maybe you'll get lucky and the bios will fix it, its a long shot but that seems to be your last option.

Ya I'm going to try that tomorrow after I write my macro paper. This just sucks right now. Turning into a 3 week process.

Hope the CPU RMA works it all out. It's gotta be rough. If I were you at this point I would just say F it and RMA it all.
I feel your pain on this one, had the same thing happen with a car a few years ago. Nothing like dropping 30k on something you don't get to drive for a month...

It was the god damn 4870x2!!! Guess when a fellow OCN member shipped the card it was some how fried during shipping. My guess is a metal detector ruined the card or some sort of scanning device. I am really quite bummed as i looking forward to the 4870x2. Guess now ill just wait for a good deal on something in the OCN for sale section.

Already have an the seller is going to ship me a 5870. Seller is going above and beyond to fix the problem. Until then i have a $200 5770 from best buy lol will be returning.

ya it seemed so bizzare for it to be the cpu so i went to best buy and picked up a 5770. Installed it formatted my hard drives installed windows with no issues.
