In search of budget motherboard

What are the best budget mobos out there in the $100 to $150 range that is compatible with a 955BE? Extra features like USB 3.0 are optional, but also preferable. Any suggestions?

What about this one?

M4A79XTD EVO
Biostar TA890FXE [just don't use it with PSC RAM]
Gigabyte 890XA-UD3 (if it ever goes back in stock at ZipZoomFly)
That motherboard is a good one

OK guys, right now I'm just between the ASUS M4A79XTD EVO and ASRock 880G EXTREME3. The ASRock costs $10 more and supports USB 3.0, and seems better overall. But I'm not sure about the brand since I've never heard of it (lol sorry I'm still pretty new at this). Is ASRock a good brand?

I am in the same boat as Hoops in terms of looking for a board. I noticed the ASUS board you linked to has the negative 965BE comments. They say the 965BE C3 wont' work with that board. Two questions. Is this correct about the 965BE? Is the 955BE ok with this board?

The 955BE will definitely work, but I'm not sure about the 965. I've actually helped my friend with his build, and it turns out that the bios on his mobo wasn't compatible with the 965. He RMA'd and got a 955. It worked.

and...

Glad the 955BE works with it. I have been looking at the ASRocks board below. I was told that they are affiliated in some way with ASUS. Is that true?

ASRock used to be ASUS's budget line if I remember correctly but since then they are now a separate company. Their recent boards are pretty solid and I would definitely recommend them.
