Ok want to do a i5 2500k gaming build

what ram would work best for gaming using a asus p67 pro or gigabyte ud3 board

i was thinking of maybe using http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-303-_-Product but im not sure if they would work good with the pro.

price range is like under 100

Excellent choice, the one you've picked out would've been what I would have recommended at the moment anyway.

@Sainix

Good choice but this´s better

G.SKILL Ripjaws X (2 x 2GB) 1600 787 24 @ 1,50v

same speed and timing but at lower voltage, for a few $ more, $70

or

G.SKILL Ripjaws X (2 x 2GB) 1600 686 24 @ 1,50v

same speed but lower timing at lower voltage, just below $80.

G.Skill guarantees that they work on both Asus and Gigabyte P67 boards at announced specification with a lifetime warranty, source here and here

personally have this set
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231444

first time i've OCed my rams and manage to get 2133mhz 8-10-8-28 1T @ 1.6v

pretty impressive i would say wasnt expecting that much out of a 80$ set. (i bought it for the black on black )
