Awesome, thanks!

About time. I bought the Vibrant back at the beginning of August and I remember hearing that 2.2 would be available for the phone very VERY soon. I didn't expect to wait almost six months.

I can't even get Kies mini to detect my phone. The first time it detected it and said I had to have full battery to do the update. So I disconnect and come back with full battery and it won't recognize my device. I guess a lot of people over at the T-Mobile forums are having similar problems as well.

i've been using Eugene's gingerbread-themed froyo w/ voodoo lagfix since december.

It's so fast and reliable, ive stopped trying to keep up with samsung's promises.

No point in waiting for Official release, it will take forever Custom Roms are the way to go Cyanogen on my friends Vibrant was nice

I have tried afew Froyo custom roms on my wildfire, but i did not really find any benefits to it.

The new features added were not of much use to me. Nor did i see an increase of speed, without OCing it.

So i just went back to stock 2.1 (my original backup), removed some apps i was not using anymore, flashed HCDR Kernel v4.1 so i could OC, OCed to 570Mhz and thats it.

170mb of free ram + everything is snappy
