Very Cheap OCed GTX 460

Thread Starter
So I'm looking at getting a new GTX 460 and out of every card I've looked at, this Galaxy card (Core Clock: 810MHz, Shader: 1620 MHz, Memory Clock: 4000 MHz) comes out on top.

Tigerdirect.ca is having a sale where it's $160 ($35 dollars instant off, $40 mail in).

To compare I can get this EVGA card (Core: 763MHz, Shader: 1526MHz, Memory: 3800MHz) for $180 ($6 instant, $30 mail in).

Why does the Galaxy seem to beat the pants off of everything else while still being way cheaper?

I'm only comparing Core Clock, Shader Clock and Effective Memory Clock since I'm only looking at 1GB GTX 460's, is there anything else to compare?

Thanks!

Edit: I won't be overclocking it, just using it at factor defaults.

Most cards will clock well over 800 on stock voltages.

Galaxy doesn't have the warranty of EVGA. Some people don't liek the galaxy cooler.

True but I'm really not interested in overclocking it at all. And hmm okay, I'll have to look into the cooler, thanks.

i would choose one of the Gigabyte's or MSI's 460s since they have very good cooling solution.

I just bought 2 of the Galaxy card to put in SLI for the price I wont complain if they get a bit toasty. I figure if heat becomes an issue I use the rebates to purchase a better cooler for them, btw check out the thread on this since you can also get $10 from visa. You won't get the 3rd rebate(purchase date must be today or earlier 1/23) unless you hurry but with the rebate for $50 per card and for me only $14 for 2 day shipping that's an amazing buy.

This is the thread for rebate and deal info:

Oh and as for the cooler could someone kindly point me to a thread/post regarding it if you know of any? I haven't heard of any issue, actually read that at 10-40% OC the stock cooler is awesome.
