Bay mounted pump/res in 700D killing me.

Thread Starter
The vibration is so terrible, I have the Koolance 980BK in the 700D. And it is really atrociously loud. I am pretty sure it is actually just reverberating through the steel of the case? I am not sure if anyone knows any solutions to dampen it, make it quiet. Please this noise is unbearable.

try and get some rubber grommets or get some thin sheets of rubber to put between the res and the steel.

I have the same issue with the XSPC bay reservoir in my 800D. Get a spare piece of tubing and cut the vertically (so it makes a flat sheet of material) and wedge it between the chassis and case. You can also get some sponge or rubber material to dampen the vibrations above and underneath it. Remember it's the chassis vibrating, not the reservoir.

Used the tubing trick on my bay until I got some proper rubber. Works quite well
