How can I find out how much work/points I have done, with the other system there was a shortcut etc to it, but this one there isn't.

Also, why did I need HFM.net? havn't installed that yet, but downloaded it as per guide.

Found it lol sorry I was replying to the post before the above links refreshed!

Thanks zodac!

and yea those numbers are un-important. I'm just happy to be apart of something that can literally change the world in a positive way. I remember coming in and seeing a forum/thread titled "In memory of. Post who you fold for" Looked it up, but no luck. Maybe I was seeing things? Anyways, thanks for all your help

Yeah, here's the guide for the GPU client:
http://www.overclock.net/folding-hom...gpu2-gpu3.html

As for the CPU, I'll explain a little.

The SMP client will throttle back if other applications need the CPU. So if you need to use the CPU for 10/15 minutes, leave the SMP client running, and it'll allow the new program to run fully, while losing a bit of performance for the client. However, the SMP client runs on a bonus points system. The longer it takes to complete a WU, the less bonus points, and the less PPD you will get.

One of the more commonly used techniques is adding the "-oneunit" flag. It will close the SMP client once the current WU is finished. That way, you can run other programs as normal, but won't be Folding on any WU, so won't be losing any performance. Then, when you're finished with the program, simply start the client up again and Fold as normal.

Yup, as long as you use the same account name and team number.

It'd probably be best not to add your SMP passkey to the GPU client.

Give it a couple of minutes.

Oh, and make sure not to open the viewer; kills Folding performance. Use HFM to keep an eye on it.
