Your answer was better for people who can't count to 10

The 10 WU search idea is valid, but only for a VERY short period. I think most people can count to 10, or look in the SMP client fahlog.txt to see the WU completed count.

[04:50:26] + Number of Units Completed: 10

Is the security aspect of using a passkey not worth recommending it for all clients?

How often are there ocassions when it is necessary?

Besides, quite a few of the GPU2 WUs don't work with the passkey as it is. Not that they make up a majority of the WUs being completed, but it's clearly not a major issue.

Also, the "Number of Units Completed" can be reset.

It's more like a preventative thing. You don't often need insurance, but nice to have it when you do.

Sure, Number of Units Completed can be reset. But how many people would reset it when trying to get their first 10 SMP WUs done? I wouldn't touch the thing until I knew 10 were done.
