Flexible usb3.0 storage

Haven't posted in a while but would like some input.

I am yet again finding myself in a storage crunch. I am liking the sound of a portable external enclosure. Currently neither my desktop or laptop have usb 3.0 so I am considering the following.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16839302002

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16815124043

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822149191

this would allow me to use the drive with usb 3.0 on both my desktop and laptop and for the same price as a use3.0 pci-e card.

where I'm not sure is as to which drive to go. from what I see the Toshiba's are supposed to be pretty awesome but I would like some input onto if the wd/segate would be a better option.

Money is a bit tight so lower prices are nice.
