Subtotal: $590.93
Grand Total: $596.73

Any suggestions? I've scavenged for anything better then that in that price range and I got to my limit (at.... 5:52AM) so I'm presenting you guys with my findings in hopes that you can shape me up some more =] Computer will dual boot (400/ 7, 64/ XP) and be used for heavy gaming, various multimedia, and any random stuff i need it to do other than that. Thanks for the help in advance =]

Get rid of the sunbeam, the coolermaster CM hyper 212+ is better

RAIDMAX is pretty meh, but yeah, ok for a budget I guess. MOtherboard and CPU combo is fine.

To be honest, I'd replace the HSF and the memory. But for a budget it will be fine. The memory you really wanna try to get some GSkill Ripjaws. They go very well with the AMD's and you probably would notice the performance increase.

OP, i wouldnt trust a raidmax PSU to run anything of value

the CM hyper 212 is a great value, better than the sunbeam as said above.

other than that, its a pretty good list.

I have heard and understand several concerns regarding Raidmax's PSUs but i have also heard that their higher end lines run rather well (i also read the railings my self- It's going to be more than i need by a margin of over 100w so i won't stress the system)

As far as the case- I don't think i could find better performance for $50 shipped. Even from rosewill.

Same HDD =]

About the sunbeam, I've seen it do tremendous things once you ditch the *y stock fan- and -then- go to a push/pull setup. It keeps temps around low-end water cooling

Thanks for the replies so far =]

I -am- seriously considering the X6, but i don't know if it's for sure what I need. What do you guys recommend?

the RAM has 1 cas latency higher- but good RAM.

how about those :
Case 99.99$ (personaly i wouldnt skimp on the case , concidering its like PSU , can stay with u for a while )
PSU 89.99$ (-30$ MIR) same as above
CPU + mobo x4 is plenty for gaming , mobo will support future CF (so will ur PSU)
Video Card 174.99$ (-15$ MIR)
Cooler 44.96$ (-20$ MIR) heard good things about it
Ram 49.99$ (-10$ MIR) heard it can hit 2000 Mhz on cas 9 and 7-7-7-21 on 1600 Mhz
total 618$ after mail in rebates

By all means go for the Samsung F3 1TB for the HDD. With the promo code, it costs only $5 more.

Yeah, no, they don't, they are crap through and through

Screw the case, this is the least of your concerns, your budget doesn't really let you pick, get the cheapest you can and cut holes in it for fans.

No, no it doesn't. Low end watercooling will allow for a 4.2Ghz OC on a 920/30 and still keep you under 65. This won't do that. Hell an H50 won't let you go past 4Ghz and that's miles better than this. The CM 212 is still the best for your budget.

Don't bother, hardly any games utilise 4 cores let alone 6.

DO you really want our help, The memory is crap. It's not about CAS or speed, it's about the quality of the memory.

In short, all you've done is basically tell us we are wrong when it is infact you that are wrong. You've asked for advice and basically given us the finger. Take the advice we provide, act on it and you'll be happier in the long run.

That memory has been shown to be capable of the same 8-8-8 timings with much lower voltage and some have taken it to 7-8-7 or 7-7-7.
