Why dont you just RMA it?..just try it and maybe evga will accept it...ive rma'd a bunch of stuff without receipts and stuff..say you lost your receipt but youve had it less than a year.

i used 2 have a 285.... and i had a 470 from a mate at one time....

they performed about the same in most games in my rig at the time....

ended up getting a 480 though to annoy him lol

They wouldn't accept an RMA because shipping charges and customs would cost more than the card itself.
It's still here, and it doesn't output video. I've bought a GTX460 from XFX with a warranty that can actually be redeemed locally.
Turns out whatever took my 285 out also took my motherboard and RAM out with it. But luckily those had warranty and I got brand new ones back.
