Video card suddenly not getting power with Rampage II mobo

Hi all. First i'd like to say thankyou in advance for any help given to me.

I have recently just purchased a solid state hard drive to upgrade from my previous HDD. I took my computer to a mates place to install it, we had to remove my video card (which is a GTX 280) in order to reach the sata ports on the mobo. We then put the gfx card back in with the new SSD hooked up, and no power was getting to my video card. I had power to everywhere else. There is also only one LED light up on the mobo, and it is orange. The HD_LED one. Not sure what this means.

We then tried removing the SSD and putting everything back to normal as how it was before, and still is not working. We took my gfx card out and plugged it into my mates computer, and the gfx card worked perfectly. We also plugged my mates gfx card into my computer and it also worked perfectly.

This really has me stumped, my mates computer has the exact same identical power supply to mine aswell, so that problem's kinda ruled out. I've tried resetting the cmos, removing the batterie for a few minutes etc. Tried putting the gfx card into different slots. Tried only using one stick of ram. You name it we've probably tried it.

Like i said, I'm really stumped here. Any help / suggestions would be wonderful, cheers.

I wish that was the case, and it was just a simple fix like that, but my mates video card works in my system, so i doubt it is the case..

Thanks anyway. Anyone else with any suggestions? or i'll just take my computer to a repair shop and pass the problem onto them =S
