Looking for an upgrade to my 4870 512. any suggestions? Want to stick with ATi.

6850/6870? If it's for gaming then maybe a 6950/6970 or even a cheap 5870.

What are you going to be using it for??? What's your current rig capable of??? What's your budget???

looking to spend under 250. Gaming. Have 8gigs ram, 3.3 dual core, will be playing dcuo, cod, borderlands

Newly released 560ti would be your best choice imo - performs on the same level as 6970 once overclocked (according to many reviews). Will run cool/quiet and overclock to high heaven (1000mhz+). Shouldn't be a problem for your CPU in terms of bottleneck either.

I'd say find that 6970 1GB card. I've heard those are right around $250, and that'd be your best bang per buck in that price bracket.

Should give a price, would really help instead of people giving random ATI cards to toss up.

Money no issue, 6970 x2 or wait till 6990 is released.

New CPU, or overclock. will give you more FPS for free. grab a Hyper 212 cooler for 20 bucks.

Check your GPU usage ingame too, it will show your bottleneck.
