Quick question - Page 2

A G lens has the aperture closed when it's not on a camera, but as soon as you mount it on a standard Nikon F-mount camera, the aperture opens when you rotate it.

Please, if my question was obvious, I wouldn't have posted it. I'm looking for someone who has experience with those adapters...

I have not used a more recent adapter or lens, but i have used a nikon non-ai 50/1.2 on a canon 40d and the ebay lens adapter, and from that adapter there are no levers to control the g lens aperture. so on that specific adapter a G lens will sit closed on it. if the adapter you want to buy has a lever then it will open the G lens.
