ok this is my first computer build from the ground up I have worked on and swapped out components in the past but never built one completely, so I have a GIGABYTE|GA-MA785GM-US2H mobo and I am using a Rosewill Challenger case. I have installed everything and it seemed to be good until I went to turn it on. The led light on the front was on and I went and hit the power button but nothing happened so I checked to make sure everything was plugged in nice and tight and everything seemed good so I tried it again and still nothing. Then I got into the nitty gritty of the three cables labeled Power sw/Reset sw/H.D.D. LED coming from the front of the case. Well according to my manual for my motherboard the Power SW cable should be red and the H.D.D LED should be blue BUT the cables from the case are opposite. When I plugged the cables into the corresponding plugins to what the manual for the mobo said I did not even get the led on the front to light up like before. I am wondering if maybe the labeled tops of the cables might have been switched by the manufacturer. But if that is the case then I had them in the right way the first time but I was still not able to turn on the computer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
