Arctic Silver 5 or Prolimatech thermal compound?

Thread Starter
Hi all,

I'll be fitting my new MK-13 to my GTX470 tomorrow and wondered whether I should use the Artic Silver 5 I already have or use the compound that came with the MK-13?

My thinking is surely Prolimatech wouldn't include anything but a great compound with their kit and risk it affecting their rep..

Having said that, I used the Artic Silver when fitting the Megahalems and that appear to be working really well..

Thanks.

Peter.

I'd use Prolimatech's compound personally.

It gets the job done, cools well, and is non-conductive. It's also pretty easy to work with.

Many thanks. I think I'll go with AS5 purely as it's a specifically produced & marketed product with great reviews rather than the unknown...
