Wont boot need help

Thread Starter
I finally got the rest of my parts to finish my build. I install everything and my computer will not boot into BIOS.

Specs are:

TA880GB+
Antec 902
RAM is DDR3 GSKILL

When i power the system the PH1-D1 light will come on but the LED_D2 and LED_D1 will not. I referenced the manual and it indicates it is a "Abnormal: CPU / Chipset Error. I removed the CPU fan and checked the chipset and it is correct. I checked all connections and the manual and do not see anything wrong with the connections or how it is connected. I also get this funny noise, i wold say it might be a long beep but a speaker is not hooked up. I have included a pic of it turned on:

if you are referring to the cord on the bottom left no, it is an HDA and AC'97, the board does not support the AC'97 so i plugged in the HDA to the F_AUDIO1 Audio Header.

Look at the top left. The small four-pin power connector does not have a cable in it. Plug a cable into in, switch your computer on and wait for a POST beep.

Saw your last post, forget that last. Try making sure everything is in the right place. Take out the RAM and push it in again, check jumpers if they're in the right place, etc.

You say it's a long beep?
That could be the keyboard, plug in your keyboard or try to reset your bios with the jumper, get it out and put it back in.
Continuous beepower supply, system board, or keyboard problem.

6 core + 3+1 power phase.
Remove immediately.
THIS is your problem.
No 3+1 power phase should ever run more than a 95W processor. Many higher-end motherboard manufacturers only rate their 3+1s for 95W processors.

Get your chip outta there immediately before sometching catches fire, broski!

Wouldn't the computer shut itself down automatically if its overheating?
