Would a 19", 28", 19" Eyefinity setup be wierd? - Page 2

WAIT

28" 1920x1200?

Well. ONE possible solution is to use 1:1 pixel scaling with the 28" display, so that it only displays the 1280x1024 image on the screen as if it was a window. Nothing would get stretched. Now. Put the 19" 1280x1024 monitors on the side of the display next to the 28" displays image, so that the 19" monitors cover the black area left on both sides of the 28" display.

Does it sound doable? It's what I'm planning to do with my eyefinity. 24" 16:9 + 2x 19" 5:4. Just use 1:1 pixel scaling with the largest monitor and put it to the center. Now put the 19" monitors in front of the black area on the screen.

In CCC, go to monitor properties and select ENABLE GPU scaling and use CENTERED TIMINGS

Like that. Excuse my paint skills.

I'm sure you could come across a cheap used 19" that you can use for eyefinity gaming!

That's what she said!

OT though, I do think 3x 19 monitors would be good!

I have used 3 19"s for Eyefinity before and it was OK. Eventually you start to forget the other screens are there and then I lost one of my monitors. A single high res would be better for me.

Yeah it's fun with 3 19 inchers but like I said you start to forget the sides are there. You can see them in the corner of your eye and maybe cacth an enemy sneaking up on you, but really it's good for only that and I have to move my head to actually witness everything going on within the 57" of screen.

.
That is how you enable 1:1 pixel scaling.

But this way, you will have maybe a 22" 5:4 screen and 2x 19" 5:4 screens on the side.
