Im having a hell of a time with my new p6x58d-e and my i7 970. I was using the 405 bios it came with and swapped to the newest 502 and the problems still exist.

I have disabled all power saving features and have manual control over everything in the AI tweaker.

In bios 405 I couldnt manual enter cpu voltage. It would always stay stock no matter what i put in. i tried default ranges up to 1.25, and the BIOS would still read 1.16v

I cleared cmos and then installed the new bios 502 -I can now manually set cpu voltage, but the values are always read about -.02v for example:

Manually set at 1.2v in AI tweaker - Bios hardware monitor reads 1.184v after reboot - OS voltage reads it the same

Manually set at 1.18v in AI tweaker - Bios hardware monitor reads 1.168v after reboot - OS voltage reads it the same

Also my temps increase properly with voltage increase...which leads me to believe it just cant ready it correctly (which is NOT cool)

-Strange side note-
After resetting bios settings to default and booting into windows CPU-Z was and windows was reading my QPI link at 3.4ghz. While core speed was listed at 3.2ghz it was as though they swapped places.
