Fan suggestions

Thread Starter
I know nil about fans, just basics. Im sick of these loud pieces of crap.

my current fans are a mix of stock coolermaster fans and TT Thunderblades. The thunderblades are "Rated" at 21dba

what im looking for, 120x120x25mm fans
-Reasonable price (cheap is best, they dont need to last 500000000000000000 hours just last me till i rebuild sometime this summer)
-Blue LED
-quieter than these darn thunderblades

If you're looking for a relatively quiet budget fan then look no further than Yate-Loon's from Jabtech!

http://www.jab-tech.com/YATE-LOON-12...2-pr-3009.html

3.20 a piece before shipping.
1350rpm
47cfm

Can't beat that kind of a price if you want cheap replacements. You can even put them horizontally since you won't be using them for a long time. Normally I wouldn't recommend putting a sleeve bearing fan in a horizontal mount since it reduces their performance and lifespan but I don't think that'd be much of an issue in your situation.

@PPCs Yate Loon Blue LED 1350rpm 28dBa (same fan as above but clear frame w/blue LED)

Stock cable - 3.95ea (probably what you want) or sleeved for 6.95ea.

They also have the 1650rpm Blue LED for the same price if you want to mix and match.

I'd go with the Yate Loons. 21dBa shouldn't be that loud.

Yate Loons. You can also get the best quality ones at Petra Tech.

Be sure to lubricate sleeve bearing fans before you put them in service, and every few months thereafter (see my sig).
