People are way to safe, I am currently running both of my cards under water at 1.15 @952Mhz temps never above 45c. I would honestly be surprised if anything happend at this voltage underwater. Now I would advise against it on air, but on water your fine.

i run 24/7 925@1.15 volts for folding. im on water though and my temps never pass 43C even with the cpu fully loaded as well. as long as you keep temps down, you're fine.

I keep my gtx480 at 800 core on stock volts when only playing normal games that it can easily max out and 900 core at 1.16v for games like Crysis, Metro 2033, etc. Saves energy when you dont need all that power.

Not in correlation to bus clock. No two different graphics cards do; cards of the same model (GTX 580) can only be used as a loose reference.

Can do 950 but settled on 900 1.080 for standard running. Not a fan of stressing video cards for 1 or 2 extra FPS, especially when I suspect this is going to be a 2+ year card with the way PC graphics have stalled and not going surround or anything.
