This is the question we all want answered lol. Finding something with a lot of space, really fast, for a low cost. It is simply hard to find.

You could go with a RAID 0 of 2 of these drives. But then you are lacking space.

You could go with 2 VRaptors 150GB in a RAID 0, but then you are lacking speed somewhat.<<<Probably the best option if you aren't willing to sacrifice space.

Or you could go with this..........

Buy (4) of these in a RAID 0, and Short Stroke them to only like 150GB Each, or whichever is most Space/Speed efficient. But then you have a problem if one of them dies.

Honestly with all three configs you they need to be just for writing data, or reading data you don't mind losing (that is backed up).


I like my idea but all three are good.
