Finally! 460GTX 768

After days of struggling I finally got things nailed down. Temps after 20 min of Kombustor were 67. Temp never exceeded 60c running heaven or either of the 3DMark programs. Ambient temp is right around 20C give or take a couple degrees. Off to test this in MS Flight sim X and EQ2. I dont have crisis so I wont be testing there, if some one wants to buy it for me thats fine, then I'll try it.

MSi N460GTX 786MB.
1.212v
975 Core
1950 Shader
2000 Memory
65% Fan speed

Kombustor run 20 min, no hic ups. Max temp 67C
3DMark06 25267
3DMark11 4069
Heaven Benchmark 919

Awesome, I just ordered 2 460GTX cards with 768mb as well, nice to see some results. I am worried about my PSU though no idea if 800w is enough to run two 460GTX, especially if I overclock them anyone have an opinion on this? Just bought this Corsair GS800 2 days ago at a local store so I could exchange it for another 50-100w version if necessary though I would prefer to keep it.

I dunno if that will be enough watts or not. I suppose it depends on what else your running off it. Corsair is claiming it will run two "high end" cards what ever that means.

650W is enough for running two 460's.. I have never seen GS800 before!

Holey monkey nuts! 975mhz! you serious? blimey thats a beast of an overclock, then again you do have the advantage of a higher stock voltage :/ Got one question though, what is the video memory controller load thing I see? Dont have that in my gpu-z sensors tab
At those clocks your running faster than a stock 570 and just a little slower in the more demanding heaven benchmark, really shows that this card has a lot to give.
good job

Update GPU-z?

An 800 watt is overkill for SLI 460s. You're fine.

How do you get your voltages past 1.087?

It is stable running a single monitor. When i turn my second one on it all goes in the crapper after about 45min of EQ2.

I am going to try to lower my voltage as much as possible and stay single monitor stable then find the next best clock for running both monitors. I really wish I could adjust my MEM voltage specifically.

Temps stay really cool, I am running an H-50 and have a really good cross flow of air in the case. This is on air cooling for the vid card (Twin Frozr II)

I fought and fought with this for days, bumping up core clock a little at a time and finally got it 975. I was pushing 10MHz at a time with memory and couldnt push past 1925, it would just quit. I killed the other monitor and that made all the difference in the world.

I tried bumping MEM to 2025 but it just wasnt having it, same with coreclock to 1000. DOH!!!

I do get artifact in 3DMark06 at the scene where your facing the big guy with the huge gun. I get about 2 seconds of artifact right there, but you know what, I get artifact there on factory settings too so I'm not too worried about it.

EQ2 runs smooth as silk at 150 - 200 FPS in most places, 100FPS in Q harbor with a lot people running around. My settings in game are nearly maxed out.

I dont have BFBC or crisis. and have yet to try this in flight sim X which is a very unstable program to begin with LMAO
