Hey hey, I see you got the CyanogenMod working on your Cliq. Congrats.

The Cliq 2 will most likely have a locked bootloader, but that hasn't stopped devs from developing at least partial rooting other locked Motorola devices. If I recall, the Droid X and Droid 2 still have custom ROMs (like a vanilla AOSP one) found on XDA.
