As I'm writing this I'm listening to some of those jvc gummy headphones lol anyways I want to get some real head phones. I don't really care if they are good for gaming. I'm mainly looking for sound quality. I listen to everything except country. My budget is $100.

Unamped, he'd be better off with Alessandro MS-1 or AD700s.

Also consider upgrading your source instead of your cans..for example a sound card offers quite a nice little boost over onboard, probably more than a $100 budget on cans would, but that is just IMO.

Do you have any preferences? Are you a bass head? Do you prefer closed or open? Is noise leakage an issue?

I have AD900's and i absolutely love them, my friend got the AD700's and i would recommend splurging the extra cash for 900's, they are more comfortable and have a bit more bass. In fact the component quality is higher period and they're like $65 bucks on amazon. Here's a link, check em out.

I love bass but the truck takes care of my bass needs. I'd like some head phones with bass. Just not overkill and boomy if that makes sense. The other things I'm flexible with. I know $100 isn't really all that much. I just want something that is well rounded. Clear, comfortable etc.
