Overclocking on the 750i

Thread Starter
Hi all
noob back again biggrin.gif, anyhow after getting my board back from RMA im ready to start OC'ing again. I've sorta reached a bump. i cant seem to get the Q9550 from 2.83 stock, past 3.27. i've set my ram at 5-4-4-18, fsb at 1520, mem @ 940. +500 on the cpu voltage and the ram is at 2.2v (+1 from stock.) fsb voltage is +2 and NB is at +2.
Any ideas on how to get past this "block"

I doubt you will get much more with a 750i and quad. Best thing to do would be sell the it and buy something like a x38/x48 or p35/p43/p45 if you would like to get anywhere near 4ghz.

750i is terrible for quad OC'ing. Not so terrible for duals .Got my E8400 at 4 GHZ.
