What Voltage are you passing through your CPU? Is it overclocked? It does sound a bit high as it was the temp I was getting with my 920 with and H50 at 4GHz.

well in bios it says the cpu is oc'ed at 3.7 but in windows it doesnt say that and around 1.43 volts...

i have reapplied paste properly and changed the orientation of the block so water coming into the radiator is forced to go up...all that got me down around 5 degrees celcius...after all that it still is too high...

any suggestions...what did you do to get ur temps lower...cuz i m trying to hit 4 ghz but i dont feel safe going on to that

Go back into your bios and go back to "stock". Then read some guides on here and GOOGLE and then retry. Also fill out your computer settings under user CP so we know what set up you have and we can properly help you.

1.43v for 3.7GHz is horrid.

3.8 at 1.2 volts with no HT.

75c is horrid. You should be lower and are you running HT?

i auctually used the option on the asus sabertooth that sets everything to the right settings after you choose an overclock mode....and i get that high of a voltage...its wierd...imma try setting everything up normally and then seeing what temps i get...is there a possibility that not having all my motherboard drivers cud be causing these hot temps and problems?

I knew what you did. Those presets are disgusting. They are not good in anyway. PLEASE go back into the bios return it all to stock and then we can help you.
