Poll is silly as they sound vastly different thus would suit different applications. So what do you intend to use the headphones for? budget?

totally different monsters.

You're going to have to list music taste/uses like chinesekiwi has stated.

i mainly listen to rock and rap.

Classic rock does pretty well with the HD595, IMO. Rap, on the other hand, is completely wrong on the HD595. If you want to be safe, the M50 will likely do better. The HD595 has a tendency to put me to sleep regardless of what music I listen to.

Pointless comparison. M50 and 595 are used to achieve entirely different experiences.

Sounds like M50 will probably be better for you though

Budget?
Where do you live?
how do you intend to use it?
current sound setup?
Comfort an issue?
Isolation (both from outside noise and sound leakage) an issue?
Other factors to consider?

You have 30 points, assign them:

Sub bass (60Hz and lower, optional):
Bass:
Mids:
Treble (Highs):
