Windows came up with an error message "Nvidia Driver not responding, Windows was able to recover the driver", should i downgrade my driver? I forgot to mention that it is the second time today that it has happened while gaming.

Keep an eye out for pixellation starting up as well. I just had a GTS 450 that gave me the "Nvidia Driver not responding, Windows was able to recover the driver" and then started to show pixellation and the taskbar icons would randomly turn to black squares once in awhile.
Turns out the card was failing so an FYI for you to watch for. If it gets worse try swapping in a different video card if you can.
