Assassin's Creed fans? - Page 2

I actually want more Desmond scenes though, I find the true story really fascinating, I cannot really get into the Assassins story just because I know in a sense it isn't real. You're not really this guy you are a guy who is watching this guy.

So all the experiences and characters that the Assassins have and interact with doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. So you don't really connect.

well i got assassins creed 2 during the big steam xmas sale. got some good play out of it but i stopped once i got to the part where you are in the huge mansion in the second town.

by the time i got there the game took a turn for stupidly easy.
i mean... i like being an unstoppable assassin, but in terms of story, nothing ever made me have these insane skills and in a game that takes it self so seriously it feels off.

is this just a rut stage in the game?

i mean even assassination themselves arent all to gratifying. for me the best part is the climbing everywhere.

tell me this, why bother hiding from guards when it is so easy to slaugher them all?

2nd town? IF you mean the Villa aka Montici your home, then you did not give the game a chance at all. You haven't even started the story yet....... Missions do get harder and gotta be sneaky in some missions were its required, and brotherhood will offer more options in the missions since you get 100% or 50% sync, not just complete like AC2 does.

You can't be there..

I just beat AC2 30mins ago and loved it once more! Brotherhood be so much fun! Was cool being in Altair's armor so early, I liked exploring this old churches and doing the obstacles, and only 6 were cake. I had like 200,000 Florins at the end of the game. Since I didn't need armor

huge huge fan of AC2 + Ezio's character, but not so much of the first game.

I tried the first AC kind of late (around early 2010), I thought it was amazing journey from the first couple of hours that you are playing, but shortly after, the game just became way too repetitive and had me saying " not this beep again" I didn't give in cause i loved the medieval atmosphere and Jerusalem and all those cities were all quite fascinating to me.

Going into AC2, i knew it would be similar and as repetitive as the first one, but i really wanted to try the game because of its high ratings. To my surprise, there was not a hint of repetitiveness of the second game. AC2 was one of the best third person action-adventure game i have ever played for a very long time. I would definitely consider calling this game a masterpiece, because it actually does go that distance and you can tell the game makers worked really hard on this title.

Everyone should play AC2(even if they haven't played the first one) It's a terrific terrific game.

Yea, I'm a huge fan, and am waiting for Brotherhood to be released on the PC. I loved AC1 even though it was basically pressing the same keys together sequentially, and AC2 was amazing despite the dopey main character (yes, Ezio.) He talked a bit too much for my taste, esp in the beginning of the game, and Assassin is supposed to be more taciturn, in my opinion. I liked how I picked up a few words of Italian from the game as well.

I disagree. Ezio is not Altiar, they live in completely different global locations, in a completely different time period and where raised completely different cultures. Altiar was trained in the old way from a very early age. Ezio didn't become an Assassin until his 20's and was trained and raised very differently.

Mario even said they aren't as literal as their ancestors. Its kinda like Star Wars and the Jedi.

I haven't played Brotherhood yet (waiting for PC) but judging from the trailer I think Ezio is going to be older and more mature. But I will say this, Ezio as a character offers more depth and emotion then quite arrogant Altiar. Ezio is playful, Altiar is an arrogant assassin.

Ya I too have learned some Italian from AC2. Its nice having them put something in like that, I wish more games did that, say even CoD for example. Just sayin, its a nice touch, makes you feel more in the world and date its meant to be.

I did play for the past 3 days beating the SP and was great fun. The combat was much better I saw aswell than AC1. I did the Assassin Seal missions pretty much first to get the Armor, as I wanted it badly and they were very neat and exciting and detailed churches and GFX doing them. So was a great reward. I only wish Brotherhood offers more of that aswell. As after I got the Seals I was pretty much out of side quest to do. As I wanted to finish the story I went to "!" to "!" to keep learning more of the great story Plus the side quest where just kill this dude and etc, but they did have variety and worth doing, I will probably go back and do more of them. I just wish they were REALLY worth doing though, after finishing the story that is. Like maybe they could add-on to the story.

Luckly Brotherhood will bring the cool MP, which I hope fellow OCN AC fans can join and we can play. Because, I must admit and I'm sure we all admit, Ubisoft MP game communities are never large, and gotta team up and stick together to get a good community going for a game. (I remember Rainbow six MP community was good, but small, they just shrink so quickly in Ubi games)

I'd actually like to see another game going more in depth with Altair. I like Altair as a character more than Ezio, but I think the games with Ezio are better. If that makes sense.
In progress.

Of course. I'd just like to see another game featuring more of Altair.
