Waterline dropped

Thread Starter
Its been like a week and a half since I filled up my watercooling, when I was done, bleeding it and such, and then filled it up again, it was almost at the top.

now, it seems like it has fallen about 5-10mm.

is it a tiny leak? I cant feel anything around the fittings or pump O-ring.

Evaporation? it is a little condensation on the top of the res.

Airbubbles? been running, so it has bleed out the last pieces of air?

if there is no signs of moisture/obvious puddles in your case its a safe bet its just air working its way through your loop back to the res. Top it off and check it over the course of the next couple of days to be sure.

Also, 4.2ghz at 1.272? Lucky boy mine takes like 1.34

if it's a new-ish loop it's probably just trapped air in the blocks and radiators. top it up and if it drops another 10mm fill it up again. as long as there are no leaks or vapour it's fine.

Also, your loops liquid level will drop slowly over time.

You will need to top off the loop every couple/few months.

This. Water will actually evaporate slowly through the tubing itself.
