Anyhow I still want to go up to 1502 but now afraid to try flashing it again. I suppose I could hot flash the other bios chip to have a backup but I would have to use a short video card (i have one) to have access to the bios chip, boot into dos, swap bios chips, then run a dos based flash utility of which Im not sure how to for the p8p67 deluxe. Should I go for it?

Thanks
"Go for it?"
no that was me..do it again
@ OP..the quickest way out of it is your bios chip swap

I thought about if the benefits out way the risks right now to try to flash it again up to 1502 from 1305 and I got to say I don't want to take that chance. I got lucky last night and was able to swap bios chips from the old B2 board. Going to wait a while ...

BTW: I think the hotflash procedure is a really cool concept and would like to try my hand at it but not feeling lucky right now...
