High DPC?

Thread Starter
So I started DPC Latency Checker (since I've been noticing stutters)

At first, it had an average of 50-100 µs with spikes of 900-1000 µs (Yellow bars)

I'm not sure if my BIOS has HPET (Asrock P67) so I tried the 'Set timer Resolution' program.

I enabled 'Maximum' and now I have an average of 30-50µ but every 5-6 bars I still get a ~500 µs spike

What could be causing them?

Note: They barely cross the first green line but I still have reason to believe they're high enough to cause stutter

This is a screenshot of when I started a youtube video:

Some of the device drivers on your machine are probably behaving badly. Try using device manager to disable/re-enable all of your devices, one at a time. This will isolate the problem. Try your network controllers, sounds devices, USB controllers, etc. Hope that helps thumb.gif

I just noticed I haven't installed my USB drivers yet.

Could this be an issue? (I'm not using anything USB related)

Where can you disable that option on the mobo?

Well, I disabled my audio driver and when I opened youtube I got a 'normal' 500µs spike instead of the 2k+

Try updating your audio driver.
