Building a new PC

Thread Starter
Hello,

Well i'm looking to build a new PC and i got few questions. I want to build a new i5 2500K system.

I was looking at buying i5 2500k and Mainboard S-1155 ASUS P8P67 Pro, ATX ( http://www.ditech.at/artikel/MAS804/...7_Pro_ATX.html ) ,

but could any tell me the difference between this motherboard S-1155 ASUS P8P67 Pro ( http://www.ditech.at/artikel/MAS804/...7_Pro_ATX.html) and this Mainboard S-1155 ASUS P8P67, ATX ( http://www.ditech.at/artikel/MAS801/...P8P67_ATX.html ). The ASUS P8P67 Pro is like ~20+ euros more than the normal 1. Could some1 tell me the difference? And ye i would like to overclock the system afterwards.

I've got ATI HD4850 Sapphire 512mb&256bit, a SATA II Samsung SpinPoint F4, 320 GB, 16MB Cache HDD and an Enermax PRO82+ 425watt PSU left from my "old" PC.

I was wondering aswell if my "old" PSU would be enough to run the i5 2500k & together with one of the motherboards above, plus the ATI HD 4850 Sapphire GFX card and the Samsung SpinPoint F4 HDD.

I would also need a new Case for my PC, so if any1 can suggest me some, i would appreciate it.

Thanks

Here's a spec sheet on the different ASUS p67 Mobo's.

For the 20$ more I would get the Pro. If you plan on running Sli in the future its worth the 20$ now.

I would definitely upgrade your PSU.

What price range are you looking at for the PSU and case?

Well the ENERMAX PRO82+ 425watt PSU i've got is not enough i guess, right?

Well i dnu, what would you recommend me, i want my system to run stable, i don't want to buy a cheap PSU and just damage my other new parts.

For the Case, a normal one, not that expensive and not that cheap, in the middle .

425W isn't going to be enough.

Be easier to help you find parts if you give a price range.

Ok, well i dnu for the PSU around ~80euros? I guess it should be enough to buy a PSU which is good enough for the system? And the same money for the case.

And i might change my GFX card for a better one in a future, so i would like to be the PSU good enough to support the better GFX card aswell.

Here is a 650w @80 euros http://www.ditech.at/artikel/N65CM1/...es_80Plus.html
It should be enough to run 1 card, I'm not sure if it will be enough if you want to run two down the road.
For 94Euros You can get these
http://www.ditech.at/artikel/N75CM1/...es_80Plus.html
or
http://www.ditech.at/artikel/N70CO1/...00_80Plus.html

700-750w should be good enough for a high end card in Sli.

Got a price range for your RAM? Also, are their any other sites you can purchase from? The prices on the site you linked seem a bit steep. Also, the selection is a bit limited.
