STALKER Complete as people above have said. He's about to do a new release of it so..hopefully that'll be as good. He's also working on one for Pripyat

LURK 1.1 is my favorite mod. Stalker Complete is too "happy" and easy, while LURK is actually realistic and much more atmospheric. It's the one mod that will make you feel like you're really in the Zone.

see I thought the exact opposite of lurk, I thought it wasn't nearly as good as complete. Especially with all the added dogs mice and crap that would rape you in groups of 10's. I will say though if you don't like Complete you'll like Lurk. IF you don't like Lurk you'll like Complete.

From experience it's either or.

You could run through it vanilla first, then add mods after that. Although I have heard complete is basically just a better looking vanilla, with a few other smaller changes. It would probably be alright to start with Complete then..

Oblivion Lost and Lurk change a lot of aspects in the game I think. (I've only played OL, not LURK)

Also there is a fanclub if you have any more Stalker specific questions, see Sig
