Definitely something we can handle with the group buy, though.

So with that established, Chipp is also okay with a split order; it's slightly more of a hassle, though nothing to really worry about, but the extra lead time on the complete fans may actually be of benefit for TankGuys (not necessarily for members, mind you). So with Chipp and admin both giving approval for a split order, the last thing is do YOU all want the split order, knowing we won't get as good a discount on the complete fans and would have to wait longer for them?
Nidec wont supply the parts, they will have to be provided via third party.

Also the distributor is acting sort of weird now after i told them in not going to be the one paying then, so they want to work with who ever is going to be paying. This s what i was just told Not but 10 minutes ago.

They need to speak to admin, then, it sounds like it's gone out of your hands.

While this goes along with my "backpeddling" comment a few pages back, I sort of expected this. Oh well, advance payment is just the next step.

HAHA i expected it too, they have been asking me about payment the whole week and so on and so forth, but i have been pretty good at getting around the question. But today they straight up asked me if i anted to start the process for the order so manufacturing can start and save a week or 2, and i had no idea what to tell them except that im not going to be the one forking over the all the cash or even making the order, thats when they were like well.. we need to speak with the purchaser and work with them to verify everything is correct and yatta yatta.

In a group bu like this and of this magnitude advanced payment seems more then fair to get it completed in a timely manner, Only problem with this is the price may change when the actual order takes place. So idk.... hopefully everything gets settled..

Well, I definitely thank you a lot for getting this started; once we're clear on doing a split order and who wants how much of what and if/when we'll start taking advance payments, just leave it to Chipp, admin, and our boys at TankGuys and it'll be sorted. If there are any more updates that they cannot post themselves, I will likely be doing so on their behalf.
