Hey can you put me down for bare bones? And yeah.. Still in for 6. Does anyone know if the voltage is lined up with the rpm of the fans when used with the lamptron fc touch? Like 90% voltage=90% fan speed? Id rather not have wavering sounds in my system because of fan speed differences =/

To change the speed of the fans, controllers change the voltage. So yeah, if it's 90% voltage, it's gonna be 90% speed.

You were asking for a new thread, and all the info you want in that thread is contained in the spreadsheet in the 1st post. It has been updated regularly, and I see your name listed.

All the details about payment, shipping, etc haven't been finalized. Just be patient. These guys are all working for free to help us out. You haven't handed over any cash yet, right?

If you can't wait or are otherwise uncomfortable w/ this slower process it looks like Sidewinders has the 1850's in stock, and they do have the sensors.

Everyone is forgetting that it will be approximately. Remember fans tend to have the +/-10% RPM variation from fan to fan of identical specs. For most people that won't mean much in terms of noise quality. For some people it might. Not dogging anyone's info -merely wanted to point this minor detail out for those posters who think it MIGHT matter to them.

I'm really not trying to be a *****. I really appreciate all that has been done for all of us.
I just saw that the "deadline" was supposed to be Sunday. I didn't want to miss the deadline, whenever it actually is. I just wanted a final price so I can determine the exact number I want to order. As I said in a previous post, I may want to increase the number of complete fans from 6 to 12. It just depends on the final cost.

For an exact cost to be calculated, they need exact number. Its a back and forth process and to organize this many people online into an organized sale definately takes time, not to mention the risk that comes with people not replying. The way I see it, Im ready to pay $10 dollars a fan. Thats how I made my assumption. If they are less, which it seems like it will be, great - I save money.
