Depending on which fans won't fit, you might consider a new case. Good cases are cheap.

Scythe Slipstream 1200 rpm 140mm

They have a 120mm bracket pattern, and the Rosewill Blackhawk's 120mm provisions won't allow the 140's. The Gentle Typhoons, on the other hand, will work just fine (did some fitting with other 120's). So I'll just have to be a little more patient with my upgrade build

Besides, the Gentle Typhoons have a slightly higher cfm

I haven't tested my SS-140 (ak. Kaze Maru 2) 1200 rpm yet, but the Kaze Maru 1200 is a most excellent fan, hard at work as I write this, hardly making any noise. I expect similar from the km2/ss-140.

Paul,

We have a quote now to do the connectors. I also have to add for the P
sensor which is not included on the website pricing.

For 720-2500 fans, the price is $12.98.
Lead time is 10-12 wks to manf. fans deliver by sea we pay
(or -5 weeks if you ship by air at your cost) + 1-2 weeks to put the
connectors on.

You pay freight from Milford, CT to your dock (we bill you as part
of the order).

The only open issue might be if you want to make sure that the part number
John thinks might work actually works. Do you want to get molex to ship
you the connectors and you can crimp to a fan to make sure it works?
Sometimes you need a crimping tool to do this.

Molex P/N housing is 22-01-3037 and the terminal is 08-50-0113

Manny and Tim can process the order for you. We’ll need credit card
payment in advance and a signed drawing of the fan with the connector
that we will make up for you to sign.

Isnt this bad news ?

The price keeps increasing it seems. This sensor/cable crap is making it $5 more per fan .....
